Exhibition Description – Trend
Debut solo show | RotarART 4x4, 2015
Trend is a visual exploration of masculine aesthetics, identity, and transformation through detail. Conceived in 2015—before the barber shop movement gained full cultural momentum—the exhibition captured a moment of emerging awareness, when facial hair and personal grooming began to redefine not only appearance but also attitude and self-expression.
Cluj
Each work reflects a particular mood, yet all share a common foundation: the observation that men increasingly pay attention to visual details that shape their identity. Beards, moustaches, hairstyles—seemingly small elements—can dramatically alter one's facial features and presence. This subtle transformation became both the concept and the aesthetic core of the series.

The works are created using a mixed media technique, developed through personal experimentation and stylistic exploration. Fashion trends, especially in printed textiles, served as a strong visual and conceptual influence. Additionally, a layer of cultural symbolism is introduced through African motifs—simple yet powerful graphic elements that echo the mood and character of each portrait.
Timișoara
The result is a collection that invites viewers to reflect on modern masculinity, image, and individuality.
